Elaboration of the draft budget for the activities of PCK for 2022.

Information and explanatory work with the public on the activities of PCK:
— organization of technical tours to enterprises where projects are being implemented in priority research areas that have potential risks in the field of nuclear, chemical, biological, environmental safety (technogenic and natural origin and information security);
— assistance in conducting special lectures at the universities of the country, TV broadcasts and a round table with the participation of PCK members, including a cycle of meetings with BSc and MSc students of universities in the following cities: Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Semey, Turkestan, Ust-Kamenogorsk, etc.

Organization of a seminar on the topic: “Strengthening the biosafety capacity of the RK in order to fulfill the obligations under the Cartagena protocol on biosafety”.

Development of international cooperation in the field of nuclear physics, radiation materials, radioecology and training.

Assistance in the organization on the basis of NNC RK training course "Preparedness for nuclear and radiation accidents" in collaboration with the Japanese Atomic Energy Agency.

Participation in the 3rd Session of the Group of Governmental Experts - Advisers to the Secretary General UN review the role of verification in advancing nuclear disarmament.

Assistance in organizing the international seminar "Application of research reactors" of the Forum of Nuclear Cooperation in Asia (FNCA) in Kurchatov.

Assistance in the organization of the Kazakhstan exhibition stand at the 63rd session of the General Conference of the IAEA.

R&D on the following topics: “Cascade solar heat pump for space heating and hot water supply for regions with a continental climate” and “Seasonal solar thermal energy storage technology for heating and hot water supply”, funded by IBRD and aimed at intensive use and development of alternative energy sources, reducing pollution of the atmosphere of industrial cities and reducing the greenhouse effect.

Development and implementation of domestic information security tools in information and communication systems and training of qualified personnel in the field of information security of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Development of international scientific cooperation in nuclear physics, radiation material science, radioecology and personnel training, including: – create new ion source for accelerator DC-60 in INP; – develop a design for creating powder defractometer at WWR-K reactor; – study into magnetic properties of nano-structure materials based on iron oxide; – study into impact of ionizing radiation to structural characteristics of ceramic materials; – research of synthesis and binding carborane compounds to magnetic nanostructures; – invite scientists and professors from laboratories of JINR to deliver lectures and practical lessons for doctoral and master students of L.N. Gumilev ENU; – develop a design for distributed information and computing medium using resources of LIT JINR and L.N. Gumilev ENU.
