Congratulations to the ANNIVERSARY CELEBRANT! Professor M.M. Burkitbayev celebrates his 70-th birthday!

November 14, 2022 marks the 70th anniversary of BURKITBAYEV Mukhambetkali Myrzabaevich – member of the Pugwash Committee of Kazakhstan at KazNANS, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor of the Department of Inorganic Chemistry of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Chairman of the RPA “B.A. Beremzhanov Kazakhstan Chemical Society”.
Professor M.Burkitbayev is a well-known scientist in the field of scientific research of general patterns and features of chain oxidation processes of compounds of the lowest degrees of oxidation of group V elements by molecular oxygen in aqueous solutions by methods of radiation chemistry, author of more than 400 scientific articles and 20 patents. Under his scientific advising 8 candidate dissertations and 8 PhD dissertations were defended. Professor M. Burkitbayev has been actively involved in the work of the Pugwash Committee of Kazakhstan since its foundation, making a direct contribution to achieving the main goals and ideas of the Pugwash Movement of Scientists.

Professor M. Burkitbayev was awarded with the badges of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan “For merits in the development of science of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, “Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan” and by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 14.10.2022 he was awarded the honorary title “Honored Worker of Kazakhstan”.
