Development of a draft budget for the activities of the PCK for 2024

Public outreach activities in the areas of the PCK's activities:
- organizing technical tours to facilities with potential nuclear, chemical, biological, environmental, and information security risks;
- facilitating special lectures at universities and colleges in the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- participation of PCK members in television programs and roundtable discussions

"Activities of JSC Scientific Center for Anti-Infectious Drugs" (presentation)

Continuing international collaboration between the INP of the ME RK and JINR and other international research centers, research institutes, and universities in the RK:
- Creation of a site for straw manufacturing and prototype development for the NA62 and DUNE collaborations;
- Holding an off-site SPD collaboration meeting in Almaty;
- Scientific seminars at the INP for schoolchildren and students as part of the InfoCenter;
- Full-fledged operation of the INP-based computing cluster using cloud and grid technologies;
- Research on the newly developed reflectometer;
- Research on the newly developed radiography and tomography setup;
- Participation in the DUNE, NA62, SPD, and NA64 collaborations

Assistance in organizing and holding a scientific and technical seminar dedicated to the 30th anniversary of cooperation between organizations of Kazakhstan and Japan

Participation in the 68th session of the IAEA General Conference

Participation in the Forum on Nuclear Cooperation in Asia (FNCA)

Participation in the training of young specialists for the nuclear industry of Kazakhstan

Assistance in organizing work on the conversion of research nuclear reactors of the RSE NNC RK to low-enrichment fuel and the disposal of highly enriched fuel

Participation in the work of Working Group B of the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO)

Coordination of the participation of PCK scientists in the implementation of the Scientific and Technical Progress of the RK in the following areas of activity:
- PCT "Educational Program on Biosafety: Needs, Prospects, and Current Trends" (2024 stage);
- PCT "Development and Research for the Production of Innovative Technologies, Materials, and Devices for Hydrogen Production and Electricity Generation" (2024 stage);
- Assistance in the promotion of the project: "Disposal of Liquid Radioactive Waste from the MAEK" for funding through the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the RK and the Science Foundation JSC.

Participation of members of the PCK and the Committee's MO in international events held under the auspices of the PDU and other organizations

Facilitating the participation of young scientists from Kazakhstan in the Symposium on Science Diplomacy organized by the OVDNT (Vienna) with the aim of increasing the level of cooperation between scientists and politicians

Assistance in organizing meetings of the PDU delegation with the leadership of the PCK, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the RK, and the Institute of Strategic Studies in Astana

Participation of the PCK leadership in events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the ISTC

Participation of the PCC leadership in events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of KAFU and the 40th anniversary of the leadership of universities in East Kazakhstan region by Academician E.A. Mambetkazieva.

Facilitating the participation of PCK members under the Kazakhstan Chairmanship at the second session of the Preparatory Committee for the 11th NPT Review Conference, Geneva

Hold a meeting of the Pugwash Committee of Kazakhstan at KazNAEN on the topic: "The historical significance of the closure of the Semipalatinsk test site and the destruction of military nuclear infrastructure."

Development of links between Kazakhstani research institutes, universities and individual scientists with the PDU: involvement of young Kazakhstani scientists and specialists from research institutes and universities in the activities of the PDU with participation in joint events

Interaction and cooperation with the PDU, with the National Pugwash Groups of the PDU participating countries, including the Pugwash Committee of the Russian Federation under the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Pugwash Youth Groups of Great Britain, etc.
