Energy and the Environment was the main topic of this year's Conference. Within the framework of the Conference, options for supporting economic development were discussed by controlling obstacles and problems arising from technological development. An artificial intelligence and society, healthcare, fundamental science financing, innovation and international cooperation, as well as cooperation between science, business and government in science and technology were the other main topics of the annual Conference.

Meanwhile, the urgent need was identified at the Conference to meet the ever-growing demand for energy with minimal environmental impact, which requires the transformation of the energy industry by moving from high-carbon sources to low-carbon ones. In this context, it was noted that nuclear energy remains the most important source of stable large-scale electricity generation under the stringent conditions of safety, protection and non-proliferation.
