The Secretariat of the Pugwash Committee of Kazakhstan (PCK) reports that on 12 December 2025 in Almaty, at the Caspian University, a joint meeting of the Presidium of KazNANS and the Pugwash Committee of Kazakhstan was held. The quorum of PCK members’ participation was confirmed at 62%, with attendance in a hybrid format.
The joint meeting was opened with welcoming remarks by Academician N. A. Abykaev, President of KazNANS, and after the agenda was approved, he delegated the further chairing of the meeting to A.A. Zeynullin, Academician and Chief Scientific Secretary of KazNANS.
On the first item of the agenda, Academician T.Z. Akhmetov, Secretary of the PCK, delivered a report titled “On the activities of the Pugwash Committee of Kazakhstan in 2025”.
During the discussion, PCK members A.A. Miniyazov, K.Kh. Abuseitov, Zh.K. Masalimov, as well as a member of the Presidium of KazNANS, Academician A.K. Sadanov, spoke.
The Presidium of KazNANS approved the report “Activities of the Pugwash Committee of Kazakhstan for 2025”.
