August 4-6, 2022, members of the Pugwash Committee of Kazakhstan, Professor, Doctor of Chemical Sciences Mansurov Z.A. and Miniyazov A.Zh. took part in the Anniversary Conference "International Conference on Nanomaterials and Advanced Energy Storage Systems" INESS-2022 in Nur-Sultan. About 160 scientists from different countries took part in the work of the international conference and the works of scientists from Singapore, Japan, Korea, USA, Russia, Taiwan, Switzerland, Turkey and Kazakhstan were presented.
As part of the conference, Professor Mansurov Z.A. made a presentation on the topic "Recent advances and outlook in nanotechnology" and shared current scientific problems and prospects for the development of nanotechnology. Miniyazov A.Zh. presented a report on the topic "Study of Changes in the Structure of Carbidized Tungsten under Plasma Irradiation", aimed at research in the field of creating promising structural materials for thermonuclear technology.
The conference participants shared their vision of progress and problems in materials science, nanotechnology, ecology, renewable energy sources and energy storage systems. As a result of the conference, topical research within the framework of the conference was considered and the prospects for scientific and technical cooperation were discussed.
