15-16.07.2026 an international seminar Civil Nuclear Energy Workshop: Partnering for Implementation, organized by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), was held in London. The event brought together representatives of government, scientific and industry organizations from European and Eurasian countries, including specialists from Kazakhstan.

The seminar addressed practical issues related to the implementation of nuclear energy projects, the introduction of modern reactor technologies, project management and financing, human resources development, and international cooperation.
Kazakhstani specialists, including a member of the Pugwash Committee of Kazakhstan, Deputy Director of the Institute of Atomic Energy of the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan, A.Zh. Miniyazov, participated in expert sessions and business meetings with foreign partners. The experience gained and professional contacts established are of interest for the further development of national competencies and international cooperation of Kazakhstan in the field of the safe and peaceful use of nuclear energy.
