The Secretariat of the Pugwash Committee of Kazakhstan (PCK) under KazNANS announces that, by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, PCK member, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor R.G. Sarmurzina has been awarded the Order of “Parasat.” This high state award has been conferred for many years of conscientious service, a significant contribution to the development of science and education, the training of qualified personnel, as well as active participation in public and international activities.
Professor R.G. Sarmurzina is one of Kazakhstan’s leading scholars in the field of chemical sciences, the author of numerous research works and publications recognized both in our country and abroad. Within the work of the Pugwash Committee of Kazakhstan, she consistently upholds the principles of science diplomacy, the strengthening of international cooperation, and the promotion of the values of peace, security, and sustainable development.
