The Institute of Nuclear Physics signed a memorandum with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology

The PCK’s Secretariat reports that on November 2, 2023, the Institute of Nuclear Physics (INP) signed a memorandum of cooperation with one of the largest research and educational institutions in the world, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The signing of the memorandum took place in Germany during the visit of the INP delegation to the Karlsruhe Institute. The document on bilateral cooperation was signed by INP General Director, member of the Pugwash Committee of Kazakhstan Sayabek Sakhiev and KIT Vice President for Innovation and International Affairs Thomas Hirt.

The memorandum provides for the establishment of cooperation between the two organizations aimed at implementing joint research and applied projects in the field of thermonuclear technologies. As part of the memorandum, the INP and KIT intend to exchange current scientific and technical information, conduct joint research in the field of thermonuclear technologies and prepare joint manuscripts for international ranking journals and reports for participation in international conferences on the topic of bilateral cooperation.
