On April 11-12, 2023, as part of the Week of Physics at the Republican School of Physics and Mathematics, the Association "Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan" held AtomFest'23.
The organizer of this meeting was a member of the Pugwash Committee of Kazakhstan, Director of the Astana branch of the RSE NNC RK, professor, doctor of technical sciences Mukusheva M.K. with the participation of the Director of the Information Center for Atomic Technologies Aliyev S.A.
Mukusheva M.K. and Aliyev S.A. gave a lecture to students of grades 8-9 on the topic "Peaceful atom" and held a quiz "Global Atomic Quiz".
The students listened with great interest to the lecture on the development of nuclear energy, asked very interesting questions, and actively participated in the quiz.
